The PS,  Abubakar Hassan Abubakar from the State Department for Investment Promotion presided over the dissemination exercise of the MTP IV ( 2023-2027) in Lamu County. Hosted by Lamu Deputy County Commissioner in partnership with the State Department for Economic Planning (SDEP) from the National Treasury and Economic Planning. In attendance were County leaders and officials from across all sectors, National government officials, CBOs, Religious leaders, and members of the public.

The Principal Secretary, Abubakar Hassan ended the South Korea Africa Business Summit with South Korea Kenya Networking Session to enhance the partnership between South Korean and Kenyan Companies on investor-ready and bankable investment opportunities in Kenya. I was accompanied by the President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce Dr. Eric Ruto and the Governor of Kakamega County.

We urge international businesses to capitalize on the 60-year-old Kenya-U.S. relationship that is grounded on shared values of democracy, freedom, and enterprise to invest in Kenya. A good return on investment is guaranteed, especially in our renewable energy, housing, manufacturing, agriculture, and ICT sectors.

Kenya welcomes Coca-Cola's announcement to invest Sh23 billion ($175 million) over the next five years to expand its operations in the country. This is a milestone in the firmโ€™s presence in Kenya and Africa, a testimony that we must sustain our strong collaboration for us to grow in Atlanta, Georgia, toured the CocaCola Company Headquarters.

Hon. Rebecca Miano, alongside PS Industry, Dr. Juma Mukhwana, hosted by Hon. John Kiarie, MP Dagoretti South, embarked on efforts to assist communities affected by floods with backing from EPZA and various other agencies under the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry.

Mombasa county recognizes the value & contribution of the EPZ program. The meeting aimed at addressing challenges faced by the investors such as availability of water, security, improvement of access roads as well as payment of cess fees.

At the sidelines of the Event, In front of our investment facilitation platform ( One Start One Go Centre), the Principal Secretary, Abubakar Hassan, presented an approval letter to the South Korean Polyester Fabric and Apparel Company (Young One Corporation) to set up 40 M $ Facility in Athi River EPZ.
